Head of Renewables
Will has over 14 years investment management experience responsible for institutional, private equity and VC funds in excess of £2.5 billion, acting for Morley FM, HgCapital, Barclays Infrastructure and Alpha Real Capital during this time.
Prior to joining Alpha, he held the position of Finance and Portfolio Director for a private equity boutique, overseeing 50 operational assets across Europe with 330 MW of installed renewable capacity, generating annual revenues in excess of £100 million. He has completed renewable investments totalling more than £800 million, with deal sizes ranging from £3 -200 million. At Alpha, Will heads the team, and acts as fund manager for the Wind Renewables Income Fund with £100 million in commitments from institutional investors.
Will holds a one year full time MBA from ESADE Business School.
Michael has over 20 years’ banking and investment experience with leading players in mid cap corporate and specialist PE funds. He has been dedicated to infrastructure and renewables for the last 12 years. At Alpha, Michael will be focused on deal origination and execution for WRIF. Prior to joining Alpha, Michael held positions as managing partner of SI Capital, a dedicated renewables PE firm, and MD for Cleantech and Renewables at Piper Jaffray. In 2010, he also co-founded Solar Securities one of the UK’s earliest solar PV developers, carrying out M&A and financings for the firm. He has an MA in Chemistry from Oxford University and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1994 with PwC.
Renewables Portfolio Manager
Zorica has over 10 years of international experience in investment research, analysis and business development. At Alpha, Zorica is responsible for portfolio management and optimization, where she supervises the operational portfolio of over 85 MW of installed capacity. Her main responsibilities include reporting, valuations, power sales, insurance, O&M and asset management. Zorica also oversaw the delivery of some of Alpha’s earlier construction sites and provides transaction support to the team.
Prior to joining Alpha, Zorica worked on equity and debt deals with JP Morgan Chase in Chicago and Verdispar International in CEE. She was also part of a business restructuring team for Corporacion Andina de Desarrollo in Peru.
Zorica holds a BA with Distinction in Finance from University of Illinois at Chicago.
Renewables Investment Manager
Brendan has over 7 years of investment experience in UK renewables, and has spent over 10 years working in financial services. At Alpha, Brendan is focused on originating operational and construction investment opportunities across several technologies, working closely with third parties to bring them through the acquisition process to completion.
Prior to joining Alpha, Brendan worked on equity and debt transactions for Ingenious and the UK Green Investment Bank, deploying over £500m into biomass, waste to energy, wind and solar projects.
Brendan holds an MBA from London Business School. He is also a CFA and CAIA charterholder.
Renewables Investment Manager
Eoin has over 10 years of investment experience in environmental markets working across a wide range of sectors and jurisdictions. At Alpha, Eoin is focused on originating operational and construction investment opportunities across several technologies, working closely with third parties to bring them through the acquisition process to completion. Since joining Alpha, Eoin has led the completed acquisition of over 25 project sites.
Prior to joining Alpha, Eoin managed the finance, construction and disposal of over 135 MW of ground mount solar PV assets at Belectric (UK) including the largest plant to be built in 2014. His previous roles include supporting the international renewable energy business at Camco Clean Energy and an early career as a management consultant at Accenture.
Eoin holds an Msc in Carbon Management from University of Edinburgh business school.
Jonathan has over 5-years of investment research, analysis and origination experience within the infrastructure sector. At Alpha he provides support in a number of areas from origination, pricing, and bid-submissions through to transaction due diligence and operational asset management.
Prior to joining Alpha, Jonathan was a financial and economic consultant for a global advisory firm providing investment valuations and commercial due diligence for major international infrastructure projects (EMEA, North America and South East Asia). He holds MSc’s in both Finance, and in Economic Growth & Innovation from the Lund University School of Economics and Management (LUSEM) as well as an Honours Degree in Economics from McMaster University. More recently he has completed the Certificate in Corporate Finance from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).
Kristian Campbell Pedersen
Kristian has more than 2 years of corporate finance experience within the infrastructure sector. Prior to joining Alpha, Kristian was an M&A analyst at Cavendish Corporate Finance, managing various aspects of sell side advisory. After serving one year in the Norwegian army, Kristian graduated in June 2016 with a BA in Business and Finance from Heriot-Watt University and an MSc in Finance and Strategic Management from Copenhagen Business School.
Head of Investments
Stephen began his career at Accenture Corporation, prior to joining Close Brothers Group plc in 2007. At Alpha, Stephen is responsible for managing the TIME:ADVANCE and TIME:CTC Inheritance Tax mitigation services. Stephen joined Alpha with the rest of the Close property fund management division in 2011.
